Ramadan, also known as Ramadhan or Ramzan, is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar and is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran to Muhammad, according to Islamic belief. This annual observance is regarded as one of the Five Pillars of Islam. The month lasts 29–30 days, based on the visual sightings of the crescent moon, according to numerous biographical accounts compiled in the hadiths.

In celebrating the holy month of Ramadan, WEIL is providing an extensive array of options to suit different tastes. Savour their delicious iftar menus while you enjoy this memorable time of the year surrounded by your family members and friends.

Awaiting guests this Ramadan at the WEIL, in true Malaysian hospitality in the relaxed setting of the all-day dining restaurant, is Tiffin Restaurant’s “Citarasa Utara”. Diners will be able to enjoy the finest northern cuisines with live-cooking stations, as well as a variety of international dishes.

Taking diners on a gastronomic-trail featuring all-time northern favourites such as Ayam Panggang Percik (roasted chicken in aromatic paste), Rendang Tok (beef stewed in herbs and spices), Gulai Ayam Berkentang (braised chicken curry with potatoes), Ayam Masak Madu (spicy honey chicken), Ikan Masin Bulu Ayam (crispy salted fish), Puyuh Goreng Madu (honey fried quail), Sotong Masak Kunyit (turmeric squid), Bubur Lambuk (mixed porridge), Kari Ketam Nenas (crab curry with pineapple), Kari Kepala Ikan Bendi (fish head curry with okra) and live-cooking stations such as Ikan Bakar (grilled fish), Roast Lamb, Indian Roti, Shawarma and Lok Lok counters, just to name a few.
