Mr Francis Lee Siew Wah, an 83-year-old retired school teacher, picked up the guitar upon his retirement in 1991 to while away his time after teaching toddlers for a spell. Today, this self-taught octogenarian guitarist has composed a teach-yourself guidebook as his ‘gift-back’ to society.
This is an easy to follow guidebook which Francis has painstakingly taken the trouble to put into a CD and booklet. He has dedicated this CD/book especially to the kindergarten and primary school teachers who have a special place in his heart. His hope and aspiration are for the teachers who have picked up the skill through his free tutorials to use this newly acquired guitaring skills to play and sing for the youngsters as a teaching tool.
