The much-awaited National Horse Show is coming back bigger than ever in Ipoh featuring four days of equestrian sports in multiple disciplines, live demonstrations, newly-introduced displays, welfare initiative and plenty of family-oriented carnival entertainment to boot.
Hosted by the PRTC Equestrian Club of the Perak Turf Club, this major event on the local equestrian sports calendar will unfold on Thursday, November 28 till Sunday, December 1 at the equestrian grounds along Jalan Kelab Golf with free admission for all from 8am to 6pm.
Set to kick off the annual celebration are the equestrian competitions, such as the EAM Young Riders Showjumping Qualifier and Chairman’s Cup among others followed by events of show jumping, dressage, arena cross country and the crowd favourite, equine fancy dress.
This year will also see the introduction of competitive horseback and ground archery. Be sure to catch all the action from top riders and contestants from all over Malaysia and abroad as they take centre stage!
Equally not-to-be-missed are the thrilling canine demo by Royal Malaysia Police K9 Unit and enlightening farriery demo by highly skilled equine foot care professionals. There will be entertainment galore with something for everyone from carriage rides, pony rides, rock climbing, face painting, sand art to magic show with a food fair waiting around the corner for your feasting pleasure.
Adding to the joy will be the presence of underprivileged children from local welfare homes as special guests to the show.
