Food for Orang Asli

By Rosli Mansor

Some 272 Orang Asli households from 10 villages in Hulu Perak received food boxes from Menteri Besar Incorporated (MB Inc).

MB Inc chief executive officer, Anuar Zainal Abidin said that the initiative was for Orang Asli living in the interiors of Perak.

“We fully support the state government’s effort in relieving the Orang Asli’s burden during this Movement Control Order (MCO) period,” he expressed. “It’s in collaboration with the Hulu Perak Land and District Office and an NGO named Pertubuhan Mendidik Insan Cemerlang Larut Matang dan Selama Perak,” Anuar Zainal added.

In a similar development, MB Inc gave RM200,000 to the Perak State Social Aid and Disaster Fund to assist the state government’s fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
