La Salle Reunion Dinner

Class reunion is an exciting time to be together and reminisce on the past and find out what has become of your classmates since the last time you laid eyes on them.

Former students and staff of La Salle School, Ipoh organised a reunion dinner recently. The event was held at the school hall in conjunction with the school’s 50th anniversary.

Over 200 guests attended the function. The former students were delighted to meet up with their teachers and their classmates. They had a wonderful time recalling the good old days and were pleasantly surprised by the transformation of some of them.

Among the honoured guests were Adrian Tsen, President of the Old Michaelian Association, Dato’ Vincent Corkery from La Salle Centre, Shirley Yeoh, Chairman of the Parent Teacher Association, Matthew Liew, Principal from 1966-1985 and Lee Ngan Chong, son of the late Lee Kwee Foh who donated the land on which the school was built in 1964.

On the whole it was an eventful evening for the ex-students and ex-staff of the school. They looked forward to another get-together next year or an informal gathering in the near future.
