Flowers in Bloom

The annual dinner of Kinta Properties was held for the very first time at their iconic Field of Lights at the Klebang Flora World Nursery on Saturday, January 21. Running on the theme “Flowers in Bloom”, the al fresco dining experience was part of the 15-year celebration of the garden township, Bandar Baru Sri Klebang. The theme was geared around blossoming into spring, just in time for Chinese New Year (even the hand wash in the restroom was floral scented!).

The cocktail party, the tossing of the 24-feet long yee sang (salad) under a canopy of red lanterns and the switching on of the curated light installation started off the lively evening. Did I mention the lion dance and dragon dance too?

Kinta Properties’ director, Dato’ Lim Si Boon, thanked each and every one of the staff for putting it all together.

With the accompaniment of a live band playing golden oldies, guests enjoyed the line up of food and captured the memorable moments at the themed photo booth. Among the favourite delicacy of the night were the prawn noodles featuring a half of a gigantic prawn from the Meru Valley Resort, tau foo fa (soybean pudding) from Ipoh’s iconic Funny Mountain, freshly grilled satay and snacks from diverse food trucks.

There was no better place to be that night.
