Training for Frontliners

Tourism Perak appreciates the effort and support from tourism players in developing the industry in the state.

Tourism Perak Chief Executive Officer, Zuraida Md Taib said that the success of Visit Perak Year 2017 proved that these efforts were never in vain.

“Visit Perak Year 2017 had ended and Perak was among the states receiving the highest number of visitors and with its target achieved.

“I hope that this course will increase the knowledge and skills of the industry players leading to quality services to the tourists.

“Coming September the state will host SUKMA 2018. This is the best chance for all industry players to introduce various services to spice up the huge event,” she said during the launch of the Frontliners Capacity Building course at the Lost World of Tambun recently. Zuraida was representing Dato’ Nolee Ashilin Mohammed Radzi, the Executive Councillor for Tourism, Arts, Culture, Multimedia and Communications.

The one-day course was attended by over 150 representatives from multiple agencies namely hotels, homestays, travel and tourism-product companies.
