The National Stroke Association of Malaysia (NASAM) Perak will be organising a Stroke Awareness Campaign in collaboration with Pantai Hospital Ipoh, this coming Saturday on October 21. The event will be held at the Pantai Hospital, Ipoh Conference Hall (Level 5).
During the event, doctors will share their expertise.
One in four of us will have a stroke in our lifetimes. 90% of strokes could be prevented by taking action on a handful of manageable risk factors, including high blood pressure, atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat), smoking, diet and exercise.
