The annual Malaysia Property Expo (MAPEX) by Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association Malaysia (REHDA) is back in Perak, bigger than ever. The three-day property exposition will be held from Friday, July 29 to Sunday, July 31 at Ipoh Parade.

First of all, choices are abundant as property developers from Perak, Penang and Selangor will showcase their prominent projects all under one roof, ranging from commercial to residential. A total of 49 booths will be on display.

“To date, 70% of our booths have been booked by property developers. There is still 30% available. Booth rental varies from RM3500 to RM5000 and this price is the cheapest in the country. We are doing this at an affordable rate to help connect developers and purchasers,” stated organising chairman, Loh Ban Ho, during a press conference on Wednesday, June 15.

“Last year, RM4.4 billion worth of properties were displayed with transacted sales of about RM20 million,” Tony Khoo, chairman of REHDA added.

Meanwhile, Dr Tan Chin Yong, sub-committee member said, “Just spend one afternoon at the event and you will know all the projects in Perak. Developers will give a lot of incentives and promotions due to strong competition. It’s an ideal time for buyers. The same goes for developers who exhibit here as being the largest property showcase, we can attract many potential buyers.”

Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr Zambry Abd Kadir is invited to grace the fair with an approximate walk-in traffic of 30,000 visitors. It will be a lively affair with property-related talks and DJ spinning music.

Interested readers and developers can contact REHDA Perak Secretariat staff, Anna Wang or Cheah at 05 2531472 or 05 2534650. Do take note that reservations are on a first-come-first-served basis.
