WEIL’s World Chocolate Day Review

It has been told that chocolate originates in Mesoamerica, a region in America. At that time, cocoa seeds were said to be the gift of the God of Wisdom and because it had so much value, it was used as a form of currency.

We all get along well with a little chocolate in our lives. In order to appreciate and value the existence of chocolate, World Chocolate Day is held annually on July 7. To augment the upcoming Raya celebration, WEIL Hotel will organise its very first Chocolate Day event, which falls on the second day of Hari Raya.

The Tea Lounge in WEIL is offering a 50% discount off for their chocolate fondue. It will be served with fresh strawberries, dried apricots, melon ball skewers, homemade Pate de Fruits, marshmallows, an assortment of mini macaroons, chocolate chip cookies along with brownies.

Be prepared to walk into a room which offers a calming aroma of chocolate crawling up your nose, as WEIL serves the best hot chocolate to make your day. Priced at RM8 and chocolate fondue at RM24, it is bound to make Raya more meaningful with these chocolate treats.

Besides that, The Deck is also introducing an exclusive menu set with emphasis on chocolate. They include spiced bitter chocolate as appetiser, rich white chocolate potato bisque, spicy chicken chocolate mole and a hearty chocolate moist cake which are available from 7pm to 9pm.

The first 20 patrons will enjoy two complimentary glasses of chocolate cocktails. Wait no more and enjoy these sinful mouth-watering, chocolatey goodies. You won’t regret it.
