Seri Keledang Secondary School, Menglembu organised a dinner at the school’s multi-purpose hall on Saturday, August 5 to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The school’s Wu Shu Club performed 24 Chinese Season Drums signifying the opening of the event, followed by lion dances, Chinese Orchestra, cultural dances, auction of alumni art pieces, calligraphy and students’ performance. Guest of honour, Mr Wong Kui Fong, Bath Gajah MCA Division Chairman praised the efforts of the school for providing quality education for the Chinese community around Menglembu, Bath Gajah, Pusing and Ipoh.
Present were, Mr Choong Kai Going, Chairman of Board of Supporters; Mr Ng Ah Chye, Chairman of Parents and Teachers Association and Ms Kok Sin Yee, Chairman of Alumni Association, together with Mr Hui Sing Man who represented Tuan Haji Hasni bin Hasshim, Chief Education Officer of North Kinta Education District and Mr Lee Tay Choy, representative of Lee Loy Seng Foundation.
