Junior Chamber International (JCI) Kinta has conducted its first youth development training programme in Ipoh.
Titled “JCI Admin Official Training”, the programme was structured to educate the youth on the functions and operations of non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
More than 20 participants attended this programme with some coming from Taiping and Sitiawan.
The President of JCI Kinta, Ngai Chee Hau said, “These programmes are a way for us to develop youth understanding on the importance of NGOs in our societies. It is equally important that they acquire knowledge on how to operate the NGOs which they are in to create maximum impact in their causes”.
The programme was also co-organised with JCI Taiping and JCI Sitiawan.
