The initiative will benefit 26,628 candidates for the SPM, SPVM, STPM, and STAM examinations, involving 238 schools across the state of Perak.

The Free Food Assistance Program, under the TCS initiative, is now in its third year of implementation and has benefited approximately 200,000 students.

Participating students will receive a lunch at the rate of RM5 each for 20 days during extra classes, intensive sessions, and tuition classes.

The program will commence from the third-semester break of the 2023/2024 session until the scheduled end of the examinations in March 2024.

Contributions to the success of this initiative have been received from the State Secretary’s Corporation of Perak, Perak Water Board, Perak State Agricultural Development Corporation, Perak State Development Corporation, and the State Chief Minister’s Corporation.

The funds are channeled through the ‘Tabung Didik Sejahtera Perak’ trust account, and every contribution made is eligible for corporate income tax exemption.
