IPOH: The existing relationship between the state media officers of Perak and the Ipoh City Council (MBI) was further strengthened through a breaking of fast event held last night.
Held at Miker Signature, the event was organized by MBI in collaboration with TLB Enterprise & Management company.
The Mayor of Ipoh, Datuk Rumaizi Baharin@ Md Daud, honored the heads of Perak state media bureaus, including social media managers.
Ipoh Echo / Peraktastic were among the media invited to attend.
This special breaking of fast event aimed to ensure a close relationship between MBI and media partners for the continued well-being of Ipoh City.
It was also attended by TLB Enterprise & Management Company Director, Beh Teck Lee, and MBI Department Heads.
In his speech, Rumaizi expressed his anticipation for this golden opportunity to interact and get to know the heads of media bureaus in a more relaxed atmosphere.
He also hoped that the event would serve as a platform to foster closer cooperation with media partners for the overall benefit of the city residents.
This is very important in improving a good understanding between the media and MBI.
“The media partners in Ipoh have always provided much-needed cooperation to MBI and have issued balanced statements about Ipoh City.
“This is to ensure a true picture is portrayed and not manipulated by those who seek to politicize any issue,” he said.
