Sri Kopinath, a barber from ‘Sri Fair Park Salon’ and who has been cutting hair for 17 years, has once again donated his services to Persatuan Pemulihan Sultan Azlan Shah (rehabilitation centre) by providing free ‘hair cut services’ to their clients at Bercham centre for half a day.
A total of 32 people had the privilege of having their hair cut by Sri with the youngest client being only 2 years old. It was a struggle with some of the young clients to keep them still for the haircut but with Sri’s skill and experience, it all went smoothly. He even had to compromise by cutting a young client’s hair whilst she sat on the floor as she refused to sit on the high stool.
All were happy and delighted with their hair cut upon seeing themselves in the mirror and served as a training towards self-grooming and looking good despite their disability.
The event culminated with Ms K. Regina, the Chief Executive Officer of Persatuan Pemulihan Sultan Azlan Shah, presenting Sri Kopinath with a token of appreciation for his hair cutting services.
