Field of Lights: Shining a Bright Light on Bandar Baru Sri Klebang (18 Dec 2016 – 1 Jan 2017)

A gigantic light installation ‘Field of Lights’ will create a beacon at the gateway to Bandar Baru Sri Klebang to mark the fifteenth anniversary of the township.

An adjoining field will be temporarily covered with more than 400 frosted glass spheres, pyramids and cubes each one illuminating as night falls, from 18 December 2016 – 1 January 2017.

Kinta Properties is marking the township’s special anniversary with 15 nights of light to represent the changing landscape of the area.

Kinta Properties’ Director Dato’ Lim Si Boon spoke of the industrial past and the illuminating future of Klebang, he said: “The Field of Lights is a symbol for showing the area in a new light.

“Over the past 15 years we have created a vibrant new township for Ipoh that we are all proud of. In this time we have transformed an unused rubber estate into a vibrant well-connected community that has flourished beyond expectations.

“We have developed a place for people to live, learn and play. The environment is much brighter – it is a space people can enjoy and feel safe.

“The lights are different shapes and sizes to represent the diverse communities that already bring so much sparkle to this growing garden township.”

In addition to witnessing the magnificent Field of Lights, visitors can enjoy musical performances, popular food trucks and craft fairs at the weekends.

With easy access from North-South Highway, Bandar Baru Sri Klebang is an integrated garden township that is close to AEON Klebang shopping mall, schools and banks. It encompasses a range of affordable and luxury home developments, from guarded link-homes through to double storey detached homes.

The Field of Lights opens Sunday 18 December from 7.30pm to 11pm.
