The Lions Club of Ipoh Host, the Lioness Club of Ipoh together with the Kinta Riverfront Hotel & Suites organised a Chinese New Year celebration for the children from Rumah Harapan Baru, Pasir Pinji and the Salvation Army Ipoh Children’s Home, Jalan Kampar, Ipoh on 14th January, 2017 at the Kampar Hall at Kinta Riverfront Hotel & Suites.
The children were entertained with games conducted by games masters Lions PP Peter Lip and Eugene Ong. The children were then presented with goodie bags and ang-pows.
The children later adjourned to the Palong Coffee House for a sumptuous high tea.
It was indeed a very happy occasion for the 45 children present some as young as three years old who also participated in the games.
This joyous occasion was also witnessed by many Lions and Lionesses led by their representative presidents, Lion Emily Kong Phooi Lai and Lioness K. Sakuntala.
