A New Luminous Experience at LWOT

The Lost World of Tambun (LWOT) has added yet another attraction to the water theme park called the Luminous Forest, set to open for the public this February 14.

In conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year (CNY) festivities that falls on February 16, the Luminous Forest is an enchanting landmark where guests and visitors will marvel at the intricate lights in a man-made mythical garden and spellbinding woodland.

The journey of the enchanting lights begins at the Bridge of Luminosa that floats on the Swan Lake where visitors will be greeted by Mother Sophea, the 400-year-old talking tree that has a magical connection with all living creatures.

Among must see sights in the Luminous Forest is the 16-foot-long man-made centipede called Shadowfang that serves the purpose of protecting the forest with its vigilant eyes. Guests are guaranteed to be amazed by the Garden of Light where there will be peculiar flowers of different shapes and sizes glimmering in the dark; pollen drifting in the air like pixie dust; exotic species of insects and animals lurking in the bioluminescent forest and more.

“The attraction is open from 7:30pm onwards t where guests can truly enjoy the beauty of the Luminous Forest. The park is filled with glow-in-the-dark paints to spark our imagination of what lies within this undiscovered otherworldly realm. We also take safety measures where our crew will be around to guide the guests,” said Nurul Nuzairi Mohd Azahari, the general manager of Lost World of Tambun.

Aside from the Luminous Forest, other exciting activities lined up for the CNY festival at LWOT include Luminous Lunar Dance, Luminous Affair Show, Chief Kukuntalu Treasure Giveaway, Fortune Time with God of Prosperity and more.
