Ideas to Make Ipoh a Better Place

Bring your thinking caps on! Ipoh City Councillor, Dr Richard Ng, is asking Ipohites to contribute ideas and suggestions that could make Ipoh great again.

Dr Richard, who is also president of the Ipoh City Watch, a non-governmental organisation aiming to make Ipoh a better place, said that any ideas are welcome, as long as they are within range of Ipoh City Council (MBI).

“The most sought-after suggestions are ways to create more job opportunities via technical and vocational education and training (TVET) programmes,” he mentioned. “Also, ideas to improve our economy and business sectors will be prioritised.

“Recommendations to improve environmental cleanliness, infrastructure, safety and security, health and wellness are welcome as well,” Dr Richard added.

“It would also be great if Ipohites could provide any ideas to solve issues of urban poverty, homelessness and the B40 group,” he expressed. “After all, our ultimate goal is to make Ipoh a great place to live in.”

Readers may contribute their ideas and suggestions to MBI itself or Dr Richard at 012 525 6252 latest by this Saturday, June 27.
