According to statistics by the State Education Department as of today on July 15, 852 primary schools and 250 secondary schools have resumed operations, which is a total of 1,102 schools in the state.
Some 230,132 students are expected to return to schools today.
This covers 164,225 secondary school students (transition classes, Form 1 to Upper Form 6 students) and 65,907 primary school students (Year 5 and Year 6).
