FWA@Workplace Initiative by TalentCorp Offers Free Programmes to Assist Employers

TalentCorp is facilitating the introduction and implementation of Flexible Work Arrangements (FWA) via its newly-launched FWA@Workplace initiative.

Aimed to establish a work-life-friendly workplace post-pandemic, the initiative is part of the government’s efforts to encourage organisations to adopt FWA as the way of working.

“The COVID-19 pandemic that hit the world, including Malaysia, has forced organisations to adopt work-from-home (WFH) as the best possible way for them to stay afloat while maintaining productivity. As the world returns to normality, organisations need to redefine their flexibility models to cater to different age groups, gender, and job roles to attract and retain talent,” stated TalentCorp, an agency under the Ministry of Human Resources, on its website.

Open to all companies in Malaysia for free, the initiative features access to FWA workshops, one-on-one consultations and boot camps worth RM200,000 among others.

Running till December 31, organisations of all sizes and types in Malaysia are eligible to participate.

The workshops in particular, are set to equip the human resources (HR) with the technical steps and right tools to successfully implement and sustain the FWA culture from industry experts.

On a first-come-first-served basis, there are a total of 2 workshops catering to different levels of FWA maturity and readiness.

Meanwhile, the FWA Readiness Assessment enables employers to receive a free report on related recommendations and guides.

Consultations which are tailor-made to best suit each company’s needs are also available.
