‘RIUH BENOR!’ will take place from 21-23 October at Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah.

Organised by the Ministry of Multimedia and Communications (K-KOMM) through its agency MyCreative Group, Kembara RIUH Keluarga Malaysia is also part of the Government’s efforts to revitalise the country’s creative industry’s recovery following the pandemic while enhancing awareness on the importance of the Creative Industry towards strengthening unity through arts and culture, under the banner of ‘Keluarga Malaysia’.

The KRKM program is expected to generate as many as 7,000 job opportunities and support at least 5,000 local arts activists and creative businesses in 14 locations nationwide. CEO of MyCreative Group, Junady Nawawi said, “So far, the Kembara RIUH Keluarga Malaysia program has successfully created around 3,238 job opportunities and supported 2,053 activists and businesses of the creative industry. We hope to continue this positive momentum in Ipoh.”

The creative industry is given special focus under the Government’s Twelfth Malaysia Plan (12MP) where it is targeted to contribute RM31.9 billion to the nation’s GDP by 2025. The KRKM program plays a significant role in supporting this as it provides a platform for creative practitioners and entrepreneurs to generate income, thereby contributing to the nation’s GDP.

Local communities in Perak and nearby states are invited to join in and support their very own local entrepreneurs and creatives at ‘RIUH BENOR!’.
