Call Me Agent

‘Call Me Agent’ the movie is a partnership between Hong Kong’s Dramovie Group Limited and Malaysia’s Evo Pictures with coordination by Teleview Sdn. Bhd. It was shot in both Malaysia and Hong Kong. This movie is interestingly co-directed by Hong Kong director Eric Lam, who wrote the screenplay and Malaysian director Michael Chuah, who produced it. This 90 minute Cantonese flick revolves around a young woman named Mui Ling who is obsessed with spies and aspires to become a secret agent. One day she saves a wounded spy who then promises her an apprenticeship. From then on, her life is turned upside down.

Call Me Agent will be released nationwide on December 22, 2022

Ipoh Echo had a chance meeting with the director and producer, together with the cast of ‘Call Me Agent’ the movie. They were invited to have a meal hosted by Bond & Co Restaurant yesterday before the movie premier at GSC Ipoh Parade. They told us they were very happy to be in Ipoh as Cantonese is the main language here, the food is amazing and the people are very welcoming.
