PANGKOR – “I am grateful to all the parties who helped repair the damaged house. The house is now more comfortable”.

Thus the expression of Md. Ludin Hamid, 69, upon receiving a visit from the representative of the Pangkor assemblyman (ADUN) at his home in Kampung Sungai Pinang Besar here.

The condition of the elderly person’s house is dilapidated since the kitchen and bathroom floors collapsed during the recent flood and high tide season.

This is difficult because he is also a disabled person (OKU) and therefore movement is restricted at home.

Md Ludin explained that he did not expect the help to repair the damage to his house to be rushed because he only lived alone with his wife.

“Previously I applied for help from the Pangkor State Assembly Community Service Center for home improvement.

“The condition of the kitchen and bathroom floor collapsed during the flood and high tide season.

“The application process from the ADUN, Norhaslinda Zakaria has been expedited to help,” he said when met recently.

Said Md. Ludin, after this, he and his wife can live more comfortably because his house will not be wet anymore.
