There will be a talk by Lama Gelong Sangyay Tendzin on April 30 at Tin Alley (1, Lorong Bijeh Timah, 30000, Ipoh, Perak) from 10 am to 12 noon, entitled “Be Nice. Don’t Please.” The talk will be in English with Chinese translation.
Lama Gelong Sangyay Tendzin has been studying and pracicing Buddhism for over 45 years. He received several transmissions of the great masters of the Kagyud lineage in the Himalayas where he lived for almost two decades. In 1997, he came back to Europe to establish THEF-CHOG NORBU LING, a Karma Kamtshang Dharma Centre hosting a mixed community of ordained and lay people. Subsequently Lama established Dharma Centres in Ipoh, Arizona and Switzerland. All these centres are affiliated to the Tsurphu Labrang.
