Wakunime coming back to Ipoh with Daikoku Heaven: Matsuri Vol 1

Raya may have passed but more festivities are incoming. Wakunime will be presenting Daikoku Heaven: Matsuri Vol. 1 at Aeon Mall Station 18 Ipoh, from May 5 to 7, from 10 am until 10 pm each day. This 3-day event will be a festival of pop culture, especially Japanese pop culture.

Organised by Toyriffic and Toyeban, in collaboration with Aeon Mall and Supported by Fujiwara Tofa Shop x Initial D, this event will feature an auto show, various anime products, like toys for collectors, trading card games, diecast vehicles, free play games and more, including cosplay and performances.

Ipoh has been enjoying a stream of such events since the latter part of 2022. Cosplayers in particular, now have frequent events to pursue their craft and Perakian cosplayers don’t have to make long trips to KL to ply their talents.
