The recent tragedies of children drowning in swimming pools have highlighted the importance of prioritising children’s well-being and safety. In response to this pressing concern, the Family Wellness Club (FWC) is organising a public event aimed at increasing awareness and knowledge on the topic.

Scheduled for May 13th, 2023, from 2.30pm-4.30pm at the Family Wellness Club Hall in Greentown Square, Jalan Dato Seri Ahmad Said, Ipoh, Perak, the event promises to be informative and engaging. It will feature two distinguished speakers: Dr. Lim Wee Yoong, a renowned Consultant Paediatrician who will speak on “Raising Healthy Children”, and Ms. P. Mangaleswary, an Advocate and Solicitor, who will discuss “Laws Protecting Children from Neglect and Abuse.”

The event is open to all individuals aged 18 years and above, with a special focus on parents, guardians, and caregivers of children. A registration fee of RM10.00 per participant is required, and those interested can register by contacting the FWC Secretariat via WhatsApp at 017-513 2588.

The event promises to be a valuable opportunity for parents and caregivers to learn more about ensuring the safety and well-being of their children. Attendees will have the chance to engage with experts in the field, exchange ideas, and network with others in the community who share similar concerns.

People in Ipoh, if you are looking to learn more about how to safeguard your children’s health and safety, don’t miss out on this valuable event. Register today to secure your spot and join the conversation on children’s well-being and safety.
