KUALA KANGSAR: Sultan Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah agreed to attend the National Journalists’ Day (HAWANA) 2023 Dinner at Istana Iskandariah here last night.
Also present accompanying Minister of Communications and Digital, Fahmi Fadzil; Menteri Besar Perak, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad; Perak Police Chief, Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri and Perak National Council member Tan Sri Annuar Zaini.
His Majesty was able to spend almost two hours having pictures taken and chatting with the media and guests present at the event.
Media from various agencies including from outside the peninsula attended the dinner which took place in a very harmonious atmosphere.
A variety of dishes were served as a buffet in addition to guests being entertained with ballad and Jazz music.
The HAWANA program which lasted for two days starting yesterday was filled with various activities including treasure hunt, mini carnival, bowling competition, open house Perak media club and so on.
HAWANA 2023 organized by the Ministry of Communications and Digital is managed by the National News Organization of Malaysia (BERNAMA).
The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to attend and inaugurate the HAWANA 2023 which will take place at the Casuarina Meru Hotel in Ipoh today.
