Tour Bus Destroyed by Fire in Taiping

TAIPING: A tour bus carrying a passenger and a driver was destroyed by fire, amounting to 80 per cent damage, on Railway Station Road here today.

Fortunately, the fire did not result in any injuries to the individuals involved.

The spokesperson for the Perak Fire and Rescue Department stated that they received a call regarding the incident at 6:28 a.m. this morning.

“Personnel from the Taiping Fire and Rescue Station promptly responded to the scene and found a tour bus engulfed in flames.

“However, no casualties were reported.

“The firefighters extinguished the fire using two hose reels, drawing water from the vehicle’s tank,” he informed reporters on Tuesday.

The operation, led by Senior Fire Officer II Muhamad Mustafa Kamal Ismail, was completely under control by 7:58 a.m.
