Blood donation program in conjunction with the 216th Police Day 2023

IPOH: A blood donation program was organized in conjunction with the 216th Police Day 2023 at AEON Mall Kinta City here last Wednesday.

This program aims to strengthen the relationship between the members of the Perak Contingent PDRM and the local community as per the PDRM’s motto which is ‘Police and Community are not separated’.

It also aims to help  to increase the supply of blood banks at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun and to ensure that the members of the Perak Contingent PDRM are always attentive and caring to the community.

A total of 224 blood donors who successfully passed the screening test donated blood out of 468 people who registered to donate.

Perak Police Chief, Datuk Sri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri who was present and at the same time officiated the program.

Apart from the blood donation program, there was also a talk titled ‘Scammer’ delivered by Inspector Noor Hazwani Mohd Puzai from the Commercial Crime Investigation Department (JSJK) of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) Perak.

In addition, there were exhibitions by the Perak PDRM Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (JSJN), the Perak PDRM Commercial Crime Investigation Department (JSJK), the Perak PDRM Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) and the Batu Gajah Health Office, Perak.

Health checks were also provided, including cholesterol checks and a Human papillomavirus (HPV) awareness campaign for women.
