The Perak government provides dental health kits for students

IPOH: A fund of RM500,000 has been allocated by the state government to provide dental health kits for year 1 students from B40 and M40 families throughout the state through the ‘Cikgu Saarani Tuition program’ .

The grant was coordinated through the Office of the Chairman of the State Education, Higher Education, Youth and Sports Committee in collaboration with the Perak State Education Department and the District Education Office (PPD).

More than 20,000 students from 120 schools will receive dental health kits in the form of toothpaste, toothbrushes, cups and towels that will be distributed by JPN Perak and all 12 PPDs starting next month.

The provision of dental health kits is one of our initiatives to help the well-being and health of students, which is one of the flagship programs of Perak Sejahtera 2030, namely Perak Sihat Sejahtera.
