Teluk Intan Hospital’s parking shortage problem solved

TELUK INTAN: An allocation of RM799,520 has been approved for an upgrade project to overcome the problem of lack of parking spaces at Teluk Intan Hospital.

Member of Parliament for Teluk Intan, Nga Kor Ming who is also the Minister of Housing and Local Government gave the allocation and the upgrade work will be carried out as soon as possible.

The matter was announced by Pasir Bedamar State Assembly Member Woo Kah Leong and hoped that the project would be completed by the end of this year.

“Upgrading work will start as soon as possible and it is hoped that this project will be fully completed by the end of this year.

“This is to provide more parking for visitors to this hospital,” he said, who is also the State Exco for Domestic Trade, Consumer Affairs and New Chinese Village.

The entire space behind the hospital will be upgraded as a parking lot and will be paved in stages.

When completed, it will add up to 300 parking spaces at the hospital.
