In celebration of the 555th Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Gurpurb in 2024 (celebration of the birth of the founder of Sikhism), a Humanity Ride is being organised; whereby participants will ride their bicycles in solidarity and celebration of the event.
Humanity Ride 2023 will take place on November 5 (Sunday) with a starting time of 2 pm. The ride will start from the Gurdwara Sahib Menglembu, Ipoh and finish at the Wadda Gurdwara Sahib Ipoh.
Members of the Sikh community are encouraged to join. Registration is free and will come with a certificate of appreciation, as well as entry into a lucky draw. Participants are encouraged to purchase the T-shirt for uniformity purposes.
The co-coordinator of this event, Mr. Khuswindera Singh, has said that they anticipate around 200 participants with a maximum of 300.
This event is organised by the Wadda Gurdwara Sahib Ipoh, Perak with the collaboration of Gurdwara Sahib Menglembu, Ipoh.
Registration closing date is 22 October.
