IPOH: The people of Perak from various backgrounds are praying for the well-being of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, on the occasion of his 67th birthday.
Sultan Nazrin celebrated his 67th birthday on Friday.
The public prays for His Majesty to always be blessed and to reign on the throne of leadership with full grandeur, sovereignty, and prosperity.
For food vendors, Mohd Jais Azlan like other citizens, continuously prays for Sultan Nazrin to be blessed with prosperity.
“We are happy and grateful to have a Sultan with great knowledge and noble character.
“His Majesty also shows concern for the people and their issues,” he said.
As for university student Fatihah Nuria Kamal Azlan said, she admires His Majesty’s love for books.
She believes this reflects the importance of knowledge in Sultan Nazrin’s life.
“His Majesty is also the only Sultan with a Doctor of Philosophy degree. His greatness serves as an inspiration for me to succeed,” she said.
Meanwhile, Pangkor State Legislative Assembly Member, Norhaslinda Zakaria, also conveys her wishes of ‘Long Live Your Majesty’ to Sultan Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah.
“I and all residents of the Pangkor constituency also pray for Your Majesty’s well-being as you govern the state and the people of Perak.
“The Sultan of Perak’s birthday is even more significant this year as His Majesty has been announced as the Deputy Yang di-Pertuan Agong for a five-year term starting from January 31, 2024.
“This is joyful news for the entire state of Perak,” she stated.
