LENGGONG: The Department of Social Welfare (JKM) successfully organized the Carnival of Care for Persons with Disabilities at the Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi Mara (KKTM) in Lenggong recently.
Chairman of the State Women, Family, Social Welfare, Entrepreneurship, and Cooperative Development Committee, Salbiah Mohamed expressed that the program aims to raise awareness about the welfare of persons with disabilities.
“Congratulations to all JKM staff for their hard work in making this event a success.
“I hope this carnival serves as the core of the spirit to increase awareness and shape a MADANI society for persons with disabilities, particularly in terms of rights, opportunities, and equal access in society, so that they do not feel marginalized and can contribute to the country’s development,” she said.
