IPOH: A total of 50 orphans, children from underprivileged families and other eligible children, were celebrated in the ‘Gema Lebaran’ Program by the Yayasan Perak.

They were all taken to go shopping at Jakel Textile Warehouse in Greentown Ipoh to choose their own Eid clothes according to their preferences.

This is the fourth consecutive year of the program in collaboration with Jakel Ipoh.

The aim is to bring joy to these children as they anticipate the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.

Previously, the Baiduri Chief Executive Officer, representing the Perak Chief Minister, Datin Seri Aezer Zubin, spent time assisting these children in selecting their Eid attire.

Also present was the Chief Executive Officer of the Yayasan Perak, Dr. Nasreen Khanum Nawab Zadah Khan.

This program indirectly brings positive impact and meaningful memories to each of these children.

In other news, the Yayasan Perak has organised its annual bubur lambuk cooking program in conjunction with the Ramadan month under the Yayasan Perak Sports and Welfare Club.

The program involves collaboration from all departments for the preparation of raw materials, cooking, packaging, and distribution to the community around the Wisma Yayasan Perak.
