IPOH: A total of 50 students from Politeknik Ungku Omar (PUO) received Eid money from Yayasan Ikram Malaysia (Ikram) through the Ramadan Charity Contribution Program.

This is the second year that such a contribution has been given by IKRAM to PUO students since the first donation in 2023.

Yayasan Ikram Malaysia, formerly known as i-Bantu, has always been caring towards the needy.

A total of RM5,000 is allocated as an effort to assist in covering expenses for students, especially as the celebration of Aidilfitri draws near.

The selected recipients receive RM100 each, presented by the Deputy President of IKRAM Ipoh, Ir Megat Shariffudin Ibrahim.

Additionally, they receive financial contributions from the Pertubuhan Amal Kebajikan Insan (PAKis) as well as contributions from the collaborative efforts of lecturers from the Department of Mathematics, Science, and Computer (JMSK) at PUO.

This contribution is presented by the Director of PUO, Dr. Shamsuri Abdullah.
