BY: Zaki Saleh

IPOH: The less fortunate in the Jalong State Assembly constituency area were not forgotten as they received contributions to celebrate Eid al-Fitr.

The initiative by the Perak state government, with support from the management of the 99 Speedmart mini-market chain, made this effort possible.

Additionally, 200 food boxes were distributed to asnaf groups from traditional villages, indigenous settlements, residential areas, and local associations.

A total of 100 Eid gifts, donated by 99 Speedmart, were also distributed to residents of Orang Asli villages.

Frontline workers, including police and firefighters who bear the responsibility of ensuring the country’s safety and harmony, were not overlooked.

Through the Festive Aid Program, 150 families received shopping vouchers from TF Value Mart totaling RM22,500.00.

This assistance is hoped to alleviate the burden of the asnaf and B40 groups, expressing gratitude to frontline workers.

This initiative further strengthens the bond of kinship among everyone involved.
