TELUK INTAN:A man was saved after the truck he was driving skidded and plunged into a large ditch near the palm oil mill in Langkap, here today.
Assistant Director of Operations Division of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Perak, Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said the incident occurred around 10:06 am.
He said, members from the Teluk Intan Fire and Rescue Station were subsequently dispatched to the scene.
“A Hino truck skidded into a large ditch and there was a 38-year-old male victim who managed to exit the vehicle on his own before the firefighters arrived.
“The operation commander conducted a size-up and directed the firefighters to ensure no other victims were involved and the operation ended,” he said in a statement here today.
The operation, led by Senior Fire Officer I W.M. Zakari W.M Nor, involved seven personnel and ended at 10:48 am.
