By Zaki Salleh

IPOH: Efforts to implement an effective waste management system begin at home.

In line with this, the initiative by the Ipoh City Council (MBI) to distribute free trash bins to the city’s residents continues.

Most recently, MBI distributed a total of 471 units of trash bins (120 liters) for free at 5 residential park locations.

Among them are Taman Muhibbah, RPT Taman Merdeka, Taman Pari, Taman Idris, and Taman Malaysia.

Also present at this program were State Assemblyman (ADUN) of Buntong, Thulsi Manogaran, and MBI Council Member for Falim Zone, Sivam Kali Muthu.

Residents who receive these trash bins are encouraged to take good care of them and utilize the bins’ functions more effectively.
