IPOH: Mutual cooperation among the local community allows planned activities to run smoothly.

This spirit of cooperation was displayed by the Taman Rishah Residents’ Association here, which organized a gotong-royong (community cleanup) program to clean the surrounding area.

The program was carried out in collaboration with the Taman Rishah 1B Neighborhood Watch Club, Kinta District.

The Chairman of the Taman Rishah Residents’ Association, B. Jayaprakash, said that the understanding among residents made it easy to plan and execute the program.

“About 45 residents of various ages, including children, participated in the gotong-royong.

“We also aim to instill a sense of helping each other, tolerance, and cooperation among the children, besides training them in community programs,” he said.
