The Junior Chambers International (JCI) Ipoh branch will be hosting the “520 CNY Luncheon: A Feast of Unity & Kindness” event on 24th January 2025, where they will celebrate Chinese New Year (CNY) with 130 orphans from 4 different orphanages.
The event will start at 12 pm and held at Laluan Chemor Permai 2, Desa Chemor Permai, 31200 Chemor, Perak.
The “520” series of charitable events is derived from the charity movie event that was held on 20 May 2023, where alongside the Perak Deaf Sports Association (PESDeaf), JCI Ipoh hosted a charity movie event for underprivileged children.
This year’s 520 event aims to spread love and warmth, in order to create a memorable Chinese New Year for these children. JCI Ipoh believes that the power of unity and kindness can bring more smiles and hope to the lives of these orphans.
