IPOH: A total of 80 boxes of mandarin oranges were distributed at the Pasir Pinji Temporary Market by Ipoh Timor MP, Howard Lee, along with Pasir Pinji State Legislative Assembly Member, Goh See Hua.

Also present were MBI Councilor Clr Jayden Lim, Pasir Pinji Village Head Kelly, and the entire volunteer team from Pasir Pinji Village.

According to Howard in a post on his Facebook page, the distribution session also allowed him to meet with the local community.

“When I had the chance to walk around the market, the vendors continuously expressed their gratitude for having a temporary market while waiting for the new market to be built.

“The temporary market isn’t just built minimally, but the facilities are complete, to the point where some joked they didn’t want to move.

“I told them, wait until the new market is finished with its futuristic design, and they will return in the end,” he said.
