IPOH: Accumulated rubbish, mainly plastic waste and polystyrene, which blocked the drains at the IGB industrial zone in Ipoh, have been successfully cleared.
According to a resident’s report, following coverage by Ipoh Echo and Peraktastic, cleaning crews were deployed to clear the site.
“Thank you for highlighting this issue. I hope the authorities will conduct regular monitoring to prevent a recurrence,” the resident commented.
“They also urged Malaysians to be more responsible and refrain from disposing of waste carelessly,” they added.
It was further emphasised that public cleanliness reflects individual character; reminding everyone that maintaining a clean environment is a shared responsibility.
