Uniti Fiesta@Perak Museum 2025: Unity in Diversity

TAIPING: The Perak Museum, in collaboration with the Department of Museums Malaysia, will be organizing the Uniti Fiesta@Perak Museum 2025 here this coming Saturday and Sunday.

A variety of exciting activities await visitors, including the Dragon Exhibition: Images in Material Culture.

Other events include various competitions, the 40KM Uniti Ride, multicultural performances, knowledge talks, and exhibition booths.

There will also be creative arts demonstrations, lucky draw sales, and more.

The public, especially those in northern Perak, are encouraged not to miss this opportunity to visit the Perak Museum while enjoying the natural beauty and heritage buildings in the town of Taiping.

As for the ongoing Dragon Exhibition, according to the Perak Museum, it highlights the dragon as one of the most influential symbols in material culture across world civilizations.

“The dragon is not only a central symbol in Chinese culture but also appears in the cultural traditions of the Malays, Japanese, Koreans, Indians, and in European and Latin American countries, each with different meanings.

“This exhibition aims to portray the dragon as a mythical symbol and a reflection of human belief systems throughout time in various cultures across the world,” the statement said.
