BAGAN DATUK: A total of 82 notices and one premise closure were issued during the Perak State-Level Clean Food Premises Operation held here recently.
Additionally, 32 notices were issued for offences under the Control of Smoking Products for Public Health Act 2024.


The operation was coordinated by the Inspectorate and Legal Branch of the Perak State Health Department (JKN Perak), in collaboration with the Food Safety and Quality Division.
A total of 44 officers from six District Health Offices were deployed to inspect several locations throughout Bagan Datuk.
Enforcement was carried out in accordance with Public Health Laws, primarily the Food Act 1983 and its regulations.
This initiative is part of JKN Perak’s ongoing efforts to educate the public on the importance of personal and public health, especially when frequenting public spaces.
JKN Perak also urged the public and food premise operators to consistently comply with established health and safety regulations.
