MUALLIM: The district of Muallim once again captured attention as the 5th edition of the Muallim Cross Country Run 2025 (MCCR2025) brought together thousands of participants, including those from overseas.
This year’s MCCR2025 features three main categories, Summit 30KM, Trailblazers 12KM, Fun Run 5KM.
This variety offers opportunities for runners of all skill levels and ages to take part.
Among the participants this year was the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Chang Lih Kang, who is also the Member of Parliament for Tanjong Malim.
MCCR has grown beyond just a running event — it has become a symbol of community strength, district unity, and a driving force for the growing potential of sports tourism in Muallim.
Many are hopeful that the event will continue to expand in scale and impact in the coming years.
This endurance sport event is not only beneficial for health, but also contributes to the district’s overall development.
This year’s edition also received praise for its smooth organization and high level of safety throughout the event.
Credit was given to the Tanjong Malim District Council (MDTM), which continues to play a vital role in making MCCR a source of pride for the district.
