IPOH: The Ipoh City Council (MBI) is inviting members of the public who are interested to apply for vacant hawker lots at Gerbang Malam.
According to MBI, the new application opportunity comes after 30 hawker lots became vacant following a regularization (cleansing) process carried out by MBI’s Licensing Department.
“It is hereby announced that there are 30 vacant hawker lots at Gerbang Malam.
“MBI is now opening applications for these lots to fill the vacancies.
“Interested individuals may submit their applications at the MBI Licensing Office at Lot 8, UTC Perak,” the statement said.
Among the application requirements are that the applicant must be a Malaysian citizen aged 18 and above, and the products sold must comply with MBI’s regulations.
The application period is open from August 4 to August 11, 2025.
All applicants will be called in for an interview session after the closing date.
