TELUK INTAN: The Menara Condong Teluk Intan here echoed with patriotic spirit as the pre-launch ceremony for the 2025 National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang campaign for the state of Perak was officially held.
This annual program aims to ignite a deep love for the nation among the people in the lead-up to the historic celebration.
Among its main objectives are to raise public awareness and understanding of the importance of unity, patriotism, and national identity.
It also encourages the flying of the Jalur Gemilang (national flag) as a symbol of pride and love for the homeland.
Additionally, the campaign seeks to foster a spirit of togetherness across races, religions, and backgrounds through various community activities.
In line with that goal, the distribution of Jalur Gemilang flags to the public was also carried out as a symbolic start to the flag-raising campaign.
The event was further enlivened by cultural performances, patriotic exhibitions, and the participation of various government agencies and local communities.
The launch ceremony was officiated by Steven Chaw Kam Foon, Political Secretary to the Minister of Housing and Local Government.
