IPOH: Facilities provided specifically for public use should be utilised properly, not damaged or made targets of vandalism.
The bus stop and several amenities at the Children’s Park (Taman Kanak-Kanak, TKK) here have been defaced with inappropriate words by irresponsible individuals.
Such actions not only spoil the scenery but also tarnish the image of Ipoh city.
A survey found that the bus stop at Jalan Raja Musa Aziz had been vandalised, and infrastructure in the middle of the park square was also damaged.
To prevent such incidents from recurring, the authorities might consider installing CCTV in the area to identify those who intentionally commit such acts.
